FRONT AND REAR PROXIMITY RADAR

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

Note: The operations for removing and refitting the front and rear proximity radars are identical.
  • Remove the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection) or the rear bumper (see Rear bumper: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

WARNING The distance control radars are fragile. Handle with care as the external part cannot withstand impacts.

  • Disconnect the connectors (1) from the proximity radar.

Electrical equipment

  • Unclip the proximity radar at (2) .
  • Remove the proximity radar (3) .

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

  • Clip the proximity radar onto its support.
  • Connect the proximity radar connectors.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

  • Refit the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection) or the rear bumper (see Rear bumper: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection).
