2TR, and 6-SPEED MANUAL GEARBOX

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove:
  • the battery
  • the battery tray.

• Remove:
  • the bolts (1) from the battery tray mounting.
  • the battery tray mounting (2) .

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Disconnect the connector (3) for the neutral switch.
• Remove the neutral switch.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit the neutral switch (black) coated with RESIN ADHESIVE .
• Torque tighten the neutral switch (28 N.m).
• Connect the connector for the neutral switch.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit:
  • the battery tray bracket,
  • the battery tray bracket bolts.
• Tighten to torque the battery tray bracket mounting bolts (28 N.m).
• Refit:
  • the battery tray
  • the battery .

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove:
  • the air inlet sleeve
  • the battery
  • the battery tray

• Remove the bolts (1) from the engine wiring harness channel.
• Remove the wiring harness channel (2) .

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Disconnect the connector (3) for the neutral switch.
• Remove the neutral switch.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit the neutral switch (black) smeared with RESIN ADHESIVE.
• Torque tighten the neutral switch (28 N.m).
• Connect the connector for the neutral switch.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit:
  • the engine wiring harness channel,
  • the engine wiring harness channel bolts.
• Torque tighten the wiring harness channel bolts (5 N.m).
• Refit:
  • the battery tray
  • the battery
  • the air inlet sleeve.
