2TR, and 6-SPEED MANUAL GEARBOX

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove:
  • the battery
  • the battery tray

• Remove the bolts (1) from the wiring bracket.
• Move aside the wiring bracket (2) .

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Disconnect the connector (3) from the reverse gear switch.
• Remove the reverse gear switch.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit the reverse gear switch (blue) coated with RESIN ADHESIVE.
• Torque tighten the reverse gear switch (28 N.m).
• Connect the reverse gear switch connector.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit:
  • the wiring bracket,
  • the wiring bracket bolts.
• Torque tighten the wiring bracket bolts (28 N.m).
• Refit:
  • the battery tray
  • the battery

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove:
  • the air inlet sleeve
  • the battery
  • the battery tray.

• Remove the bolts (1) from the engine wiring harness channel.
• Move aside the wiring harness channel (2) .

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Disconnect the connector (3) from the reverse gear switch.
• Remove the reverse gear switch.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit the reverse gear switch (blue) smeared with RESIN ADHESIVE.
• Torque tighten the reverse gear switch (28 N.m).
• Connect the reverse gear switch connector.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit:
  • the engine wiring harness channel,
  • the engine wiring harness channel bolts.
• Torque tighten the wiring harness channel bolts (5 N.m).
• Refit:
  • the battery tray
  • the battery
  • the air inlet sleeve.
