Renault Koleos Service Repair Manual: Front wheel speed sensor: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle: Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
• Remove:
  • the front wheel (see 35A, Wheels and tyres, Wheel: Removal - Refitting, page 35A-1) ,
  • the front wheel arch liner (see Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Remove:
  • the front wheel speed sensor bolt (1) ,
  • the front wheel speed sensor.

• Unclip the front wheel speed sensor cable at (2) .
• Disconnect the connector (3) .

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Connect the front wheel speed sensor connector.
• Clip on the front wheel speed sensor cable.
• Refit the front wheel speed sensor.
• Torque tighten the front wheel speed sensor bolt (10 N.m).

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit:
  • the front wheel arch liner (see Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection),
  • the front wheel (see 35A, Wheels and tyres, Wheel: Removal - Refitting, page 35A-1) .
