4X4 TRANSMISSION

I - DRAINING

• Position the vehicle on a two-post lift.

• Remove the drain plug (1) .
• Drain the oil.
• Remove the drain plug seal.

II - FILLING

• Always replace the seals of the drain plug and filler cap.
• Clean the drain plug.
• Refit:
  • the new drain plug seal,
  • the drain plug.
• Torque tighten the drain plug (35 N.m).
• Remove:
  • the filler cap (2) ,
  • the filler cap seal.

• Fill the rear final drive with oil up to the level of the opening.
• Refit:
  • the new filler cap seal,
  • the filler cap.
• Torque tighten the filler cap (35 N.m).
