Protection and Switching Unit: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

  • Disconnect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal - Refitting, page 80A-3) .

  • Unclip the clips (1) .
  • Remove the air inlet duct (2) .

Electrical equipment

  • Unclip the clips (3) .
  • Remove the air inlet duct (4) .

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

Electrical equipment

  • Unclip the Protection and Switching Unit at (5) .

Electrical equipment

  • Disconnect the connectors (6) from the Protection and Switching Unit by pressing on the tab of the connector.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

  • Fit the protection and switching unit.
  • Connect the connectors.
  • Check the condition of the wiring.
  • Clip on the Protection and Switching Unit.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

  • Refit the air inlet duct.
  • Clip on the clips.
  • Connect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal - Refitting, page 80A-3) .
  • When replacing the Protection and Switching Unit, carry out the necessary configuration (see Replacement of components) (87G, Engine compartment connection unit).
