NAVIGATION AID 1 or NAVIGATION AID 2 or NAVIGATION AID 4

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove:
  • the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the navigation computer (see 83C, On-board telematics system, Navigation computer: Removal - Refitting, page 83C-3) .

• Remove the rear section of the dashboard cover (1) .

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Remove the navigation aerial bolts (2) .

• Disconnect the connector (3) .

• Secure the navigation aerial wiring using a rope (4) .

• Remove:
  • the dashboard navigation aerial wiring by pulling it from the dashboard,
  • the navigation aerial.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit:
  • the navigation aerial,
  • the navigation aerial wiring inside the dashboard by pulling the rope under the dashboard.
• Detach the rope.
• Connect the connector.
• Refit the navigation aerial bolts.

II - FINAL OPERATION

• Refit:
  • the rear section of the dashboard cover,
  • the navigation computer (see 83C, On-board telematics system, Navigation computer: Removal - Refitting, page 83C-3) ,
  • the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting) .
