Renault Koleos Service Repair Manual: Front bumper: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle: Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
• Remove:
  • the engine undertray,
  • the front wheels (see Wheel: Removal - Refitting) (35A, Wheels and tyres).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Remove the clips (1) .

• Remove:
  • the clips (2) ,
  • the bolts (3) ,
  • the front section of the front wheel arch liner.

• Remove the bolt (4) .

• Disconnect the headlight washer jets supply pipe (5) (depending on the equipment level).

• Remove the clips (6) .

• Remove the front bumper unit (this operation requires two people).
• Disconnect the various connectors (according to the equipment level).

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Connect:
  • the various connectors (depending on the equipment level),
  • the headlight washer jets supply pipe (5) (depending on the equipment level).
• Refit:
  • the front bumper (this operation requires two people),
  • the clips (6) ,
  • the bolt (4) ,
  • the bolts (3) ,
  • the clips (2) ,
  • the clips (1) .

II - FINAL OPERATION.

• Refit:
  • the front wheels (see Wheel: Removal - Refitting) (35A, Wheels and tyres),
  • the engine undertray.
