FRONT AND REAR PROXIMITY RADAR

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

Note: The operations for removing and refitting the front and rear proximity radars are identical.

Remove the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection) or the rear bumper (see Rear bumper: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

WARNING The distance control radars are fragile. Handle with care as the external part cannot withstand impacts.

Electrical equipment

Disconnect the connectors (1) from the proximity radar.

Electrical equipment

Unclip the proximity radar at (2) .
Remove the proximity radar (3) .

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

Clip the proximity radar onto its support.
Connect the proximity radar connectors.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

Refit the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection) or the rear bumper (see Rear bumper: Removal - Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection).

Parking distance control buzzer: Removal - Refitting
