Renault Koleos Service Repair Manual: Opening aerial: Removal - Refitting

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

1 - Opening aerial on the driver and passenger sides

  • Remove the door handle on the side concerned (see Exterior door handle: Removal - Refitting) .

2 - Rear opening aerial

  • Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle: Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).

3 - Keyless entry computer

  • Remove the glovebox.

II - REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

1 - Opening aerial on the driver and passenger sides

Electrical equipment

  • Remove:
    • the bolt (1) ,
    • the cover (2) .

Electrical equipment

  • Remove the opening aerial (3) from the door handle.

2 - Rear opening aerial

Electrical equipment

Note: It is not necessary to remove the rear bumper.
  • Remove:
    • the clips (4) ,
    • the opening aerial (5) .
  • Disconnect the connector (6) .

3 - Keyless entry computer

Electrical equipment

  • Remove the keyless entry computer bolt (7) .
  • Disconnect the keyless entry computer connector (8) .
  • Remove the keyless entry computer.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING PART CONCERNED

1 - Opening aerial on the driver and passenger sides

  • Refit the opening aerial on the door handle.
  • Refit:
    • the cover,
    • the bolt.

2 - Rear opening aerial

  • Connect the connector.
  • Refit:
    • the opening aerial,
    • the clips.

3 - Keyless entry computer

  • Connect the keyless entry computer connector.
  • Refit:
    • the keyless entry computer,
    • the keyless entry computer bolt.

II - FINAL OPERATION

1 - Opening aerial on the driver and passenger sides

  • Refit the door handle (see Exterior door handle: Removal - Refitting) .

2 - Keyless entry computer

  • Refit the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting) .
