Renault Koleos Service Repair Manual: Clutch pedal position sensor: Removal - Refitting

FOOT BRAKE AUTOMATIC CONTROL, and 6-SPEED MANUAL GEARBOX

REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Disconnect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting) (80A, Battery).
• Remove:
  • the dashboard lower cover on the driver's side (see Dashboard lower trim: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the centre front panel side trim.

RIGHT-HAND DRIVE

• Remove the A-pillar air distribution duct (see Front footwell air distribution duct: Removal - Refitting) (61A, Heating system).

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Disconnect the connector (1) from the clutch pedal position sensor.
• Remove:
  • the clutch pedal position sensor nuts (2) ,
  • the clutch pedal position sensor (3) .

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit:
  • the clutch pedal position sensor,
  • the clutch pedal position sensor nuts.
• Torque tighten the clutch pedal position sensor nuts (8 N.m).
• Reconnect the clutch pedal position sensor connector.

II - FINAL OPERATION.

RIGHT-HAND DRIVE

• Refit the A-pillar air distribution duct (see Front footwell air distribution duct: Removal - Refitting) (61A, Heating system).

• Refit:
  • the centre front panel side trim,
  • the dashboard lower cover on the driver's side (see Dashboard lower trim: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).
