REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

• Remove the side trims (1) from the centre front panel.

• Remove the plate (2) from the gear lever (see Centre console: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

• Remove:
  • the lower covers (3) from the centre front panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) ,
  • the dashboard lower cover (4) on the driver's side (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the glovebox (5) (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment).

• Remove:
  • the side trims (6) from the centre front panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the CD changer (see 86A, Radio, CD changer: Removal - Refitting, page 86A-14) ,
  • the radio (see 86A, Radio, Radio: Removal - Refitting, page 86A-4) .

II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART CONCERNED

• Remove:
  • the starter control panel bolts (7) ,
  • the starter control panel.

• Disconnect the connector (8) .

• Remove:
  • the card reader bolts (9) ,
  • the card reader.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART CONCERNED

• Refit:
  • the card reader,
  • the card reader bolts.
• Connect the card reader connector.
• Refit:
  • the starter control panel,
  • the starter control panel bolts.

II - FINAL OPERATION

• Refit:
  • the radio (see 86A, Radio, Radio: Removal - Refitting, page 86A-4) ,
  • the CD changer (see 86A, Radio, CD changer: Removal - Refitting, page 86A-14) ,
  • the side trims (6) of the centre front panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the dashboard lower cover (4) on the driver's side (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the lower covers (3) of the centre front panel (see Dashboard: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the plate (2) of the gear lever (see Centre console: Removal - Refitting) (57A, Interior equipment),
  • the side trims (1) of the centre front panel.
