REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
- Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment).
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
- Loosen the rear anti-roll bar tie rod lower bolts and
nuts (1) on both sides.
- Remove:
- the upper bolts and nuts of the rear anti-roll bar tie
rod (2) ,
- the rear anti-roll bar nuts (3) .
- Remove:
- the rear anti-roll bar mounting (4) ,
- the rear anti-roll bar,
- the rubber bush (5) of the rear anti-roll bar.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
- Always replace the nuts of the rear anti-roll bar.
- Check the condition of the rubber bushes.
- Replace the rubber bushes if they are damaged.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
- Refit:
- the rubber bushes of the rear anti-roll bar,
- the rear anti-roll bar,
- the rear anti-roll bar mounting,
- the rear anti-roll bar nuts.
- Torque tighten the rear anti-roll bar nuts36 (N.m).
- Refit the upper bolts and nuts of the rear anti-roll bar
tie rod.
- Torque tighten:
- the upper nuts of the anti-roll bar tie rod (110
N.m),
- the lower nuts of the anti-roll bar tie rod110
(N.m).
